1. About VELTRIX
VELTRIX Home Services operates as a booking platform that connects homeowners with independent appliance repair technicians. VELTRIX is not itself a repair service provider. The technicians listed on our platform operate independently, and VELTRIX facilitates the connection between customers and technicians.
2. Booking Requests
Submitting a booking request through our platform does not constitute a confirmed appointment. All bookings are subject to technician availability and confirmation by VELTRIX. We will contact you to confirm your booking, provide a quote, and arrange a suitable appointment time. No work will be carried out without your prior agreement to the quoted price.
3. Quotes and Pricing
Any quotes provided are estimates based on the information you supply. Final pricing may vary depending on the actual fault identified during the technician's inspection. You will be informed of any changes to the quoted price before work proceeds. You are under no obligation to proceed if you do not accept the revised quote.
4. Technician Conduct
All technicians on our platform are vetted for qualifications and experience. However, VELTRIX does not warrant the workmanship of individual technicians and is not liable for any damage caused during a repair. Any disputes regarding workmanship should be raised with VELTRIX within 7 days of the repair being completed.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel a confirmed booking by contacting us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee. VELTRIX reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to technician unavailability, in which case no cancellation fee will apply.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VELTRIX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform or services. Our total liability to you in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and images, is the property of VELTRIX Home Services and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
